HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – For the second straight year, senior Erin Chambers has been voted to the 2015 Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association Women's Basketball All-American team and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America Team.

Chambers received Honorable Mention recognition by both associations.

Chambers was the Great Northwest Athletic Conference 2015 Player of the Year and West Region All-Region First Team after setting the GNAC all-time women's scoring record and finishing third in D2 scoring, averaging 23.5 points per game. The senior from Mission, BC, finished her career as the leading scorer in GNAC history with 1,946 points and started 113 of 114 games over her four-year career.

Chambers led SFU to a 15-13 overall record in 2014-15 but the Clan was eliminated in the GNAC tournament semifinals this year.

Along with Chambers, four other players from the West Region were honoured by the Conference Commissioners.  Hawaii Pacific's Morganne Comstock, the West Region Player of the Year, was voted to the All-American Second Team while Jada Blackwell from Cal Poly Pomona and Megan Mullings from Alaska Anchorage were honorable mention selections.

Shareta Brown of Wayne State University has been voted as the 2015 Division II Women's Basketball National Player of the Year after she averaged 22.0 points and 14.7 rebounds per contest. The WBCA Player of the Year will be named later.
