TORONTO – Former Simon Fraser University star Erin Chambers has signed a one-year contract with TH Wohnbau Angels Nördlingen Donau-Ries in Germany's Damen Basketball Bundesliga (DBBL), Slan Sports Management announce today.
Chambers, a 6-1 guard/forward, is coming off of her first professional season with Lousada Académico Clube (AC) in Portugal's Liga Feminina de Basquetebol (LFB) where she averaged 16.3 points per game, which ranked first on her team and 12th in the league. Chambers also led the league with 2.7 three-pointers per game while ranking fifth in the league shooting 34.6% from three-point range. She also added 4.4 assists and 1.0 rebound per game while shooting 82.1% from the free throw line.
A Mission, BC, native, Chambers was named an NCAA II All-American Honorable Mention by the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association in both her junior and senior seasons at SFU. She was also a Daktronics Division II All-West Region First Team selection the same years.
As a senior in 2015, Chambers was the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year and she held eight conference records at the conclusion of his collegiate career. Chambers set the NCAA Division II's GNAC single-season scoring record and finished 3rd in NCAA Division II with 23.5 points per game in 2014-15. Chambers finished her career at SFU as the GNAC's all-time leading scorer with 1,946 career points and all-time leader in free throws made with 472 career free throws.

The TH Wohnbau Angels finished 8th in the 2015-2016 DBBL regular season, and were eliminated in the Quarter Finals of the playoffs by Euro Cup club and eventual league champions, TSV Wasserburg.
