SFU Men’s Soccer History

Over the course of the last 40 years, the SFU Men’s Soccer Program has grown into one of North America’s most successful university programs. During this time, the program has qualified for 21 NAIA National Championships and won the National Title on 3 occasions. Over the years more than 50 SFU players have gone on to play professionally in North America and in Europe, and over 40 have represented Canada at varying levels (youth, Olympic, World Cup). In addition, over 40 SFU soccer players have been honoured as NAIA All-Americans and Academic All-Americans.
