Men's Basketball forward Ibrahim Appiah is this week's athlete of the week following his performance this past weekend that led to SFU's second Great Northwest Athletic Conference victory of the season, and a hard fought split on the week's games.

Appiah earned two double-doubles as the Clan hosted Alaska Fairbanks and Alaska Anchorage in two hard fought matches.

Saturday night the senior contributed 13 points and 12 rebounds as the Clan took the third place GNAC team from UAA 70-60, earning their second GNAC victory of 2014.

Two night's earlier on Thursday he had 10 points and 11 rebounds as the Clan lost in a buzzer beater, 65-64 against the UAF Nanooks.
