The SFU Stadium Project was a joint initiative between Simon Fraser University (SFU) and the Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS) to provide student-athletes with a permanent outdoor home and to transform campus life by creating a vibrant meeting place that connects students, alumni and the community. Designed by Perkins Will and built by Chandos Construction, the SFU Stadium was completed in August 2021. A $10-million contribution from SFU students helped fund the project, while the University funded additional costs.
