Biography
Personal: Ellen is the first Australian player to play for the Simon Fraser University women’s basketball team, and grew up playing water polo and rowing, along with basketball. One of her favourite movies to watch is The Titanic because she loves handsome actor Leonardo Dicaprio. Her favourite post practice snack is drinking a cold glass of chocolate milk. On the court Ellen has become a very hard worker and her charm and fun loving nature keeps her favourite of her teammates.
High School: Ellen captained her Victorian School Girls Team, leading them to a gold medal finish at the Australian Schoolgirls Basketball Championship. She was chosen to play on All Australian Team and was named MVP of tournament. She was also captain of the Victorian Metro State Team which won gold at the Australian Championship.
University: In 2015-16, Kett was top five in the NCAA in assists and three-point shooting and was a Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Conference First Team selection. In the Clan's upset 67-66 win over No. 1 Alaska Anchorage, Kett recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Kett was named the SFU Lorne Davies Female Athlete of the Year,
