Cadence Ko, from Richmond, BC, is an exceptional addition to the Simon Fraser University women's golf team. She recently secured a 2nd place finish at the 2024 MJT/FCG World Golf Championship, showcasing her skill and composure with impressive scores of 73-70. As a student-athlete who excels both on the golf course and in her academic pursuits, Cadence exemplifies the best of our program’s values. Her dedication and achievements make her a role model for her peers and a valuable member of the SFU community.

Cadence brings a well-rounded presence to the team, excelling in the classroom, in the community, and on the course. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are sure to have an immediate impact on the women’s team. Cadence is eager to embrace the collegiate golf experience, stating, "I most look forward to bonding and training with my teammates, while traveling and competing in tournaments in the U.S." We are thrilled to welcome Cadence to the SFU golf program and look forward to the contributions she will make as a student-athlete and teammate.
