Phoenix, AZ - Simon Fraser University wrestlers
Skylor Davis (Zilah, WA) and
Brock Lamb (Destin, FL) each went undefeated at the Fourth Annual Grand Canyon University Duals.
Davis, Lamb and the rest of the Clan competed in the duals against the Division I Grand Canyon University Antelopes and the Montana State University Moorhead Dragons.
Competing at 125 pounds, Davis defeated Grand Canyon's Kevin Hunt by fall in his first match.
He would go on to defeat Moorhead's Blake Bosch to improve to 2-0 on the weekend.
The Clan senior is currently ranked number one in his weight class in all of NCAA Division II by Intermat Wrestling. He has placed in every tournament he has competed in this season, including the Reno Tournament of Champions against primarily Division I competition.
Lamb notched his first win of the meet against Grand Canyon, defeating the Antelopes' Juan Carlos Maynes at 165-pounds.
He went on to beat Moorhead's Shawn Porter to finish the meet at 2-0.
The Clan men's wrestlers will be on the road this week, competing at the Tracey Borah Duals and against Adams State College.
They will be at home on
January 20 in the West Gym for a dual against Embry Riddle.
