SFU Men’s Basketball Summer Camps - Ages 9-12

Train with Simon Fraser University Men’s Basketball this summer in a fun, competitive, and development-focused environment. Our camps are led by SFU Men’s Basketball student-athletes and coaches and are designed to help players improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of the game.

Each camp focuses on age-appropriate development while emphasizing strong fundamentals, decision-making, and a positive learning environment. Whether you are new to the game or looking to take the next step in your development, there is a camp designed for you.

Our Future Ballers camps are designed to introduce young athletes to the game of basketball in a fun, supportive, and high-energy environment. Campers will learn the core fundamentals of the game including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense while building confidence and developing a love for basketball. Through skill development, competitions, and games, players will improve their abilities while having a great experience on the court.

Future Ballers Camp

Ages: 9–12
Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Future Ballers is a fun, high-energy introduction to basketball for ages 9–12, hosted and coached by Simon Fraser University Men’s Basketball. This camp focuses on teaching the core fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense in a positive and encouraging environment. Through engaging drills and games, campers build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game.

SFU Skills Camp

Ages: 9–12
Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Dates:
• July 27 – July 31
The SFU Skills Camp is designed for athletes ages 9–12 and 12-15 who want to take their game to the next level. Whether you are just starting out or already have experience, this camp focuses on enhancing your skillset from wherever you are. Our coaches will help guide athletes from beginner to intermediate, and from intermediate to advanced, through detailed instruction and high-repetition skill work. The camp emphasizes ball handling, shooting, footwork, decision-making, and game play in a competitive and encouraging environment. Our goal is simple: help every athlete improve and leave camp a more confident player.
