Reduction or Cancellation

During the period of award (e.g., the term, the year), institutional athletic financial aid may be reduced or canceled if the student-athlete:

Becomes ineligible for intercollegiate competition;
Fraudulently misrepresents any information on an application, letter of intent or financial aid agreement;
Engages in serious misconduct warranting substantial disciplinary penalty; or
Voluntarily withdraw from his/her sport at any time for personal reasons.

During the period award (e.g., the term, the year), institutional athletic financial aid may not be reduced or canceled on the basis of:

Athletic ability, performance or contribution to the team's success;
An injury, illness, or physical or mental medical condition; or
For any other athletic reason.
