Biography

Barker is an all-round athlete with a competitive spirit. She plays with grit, and a true love of the game. With the Surrey Storm, Barker provided versatility in the field and power at the plate. At the 2018 Canadian Championships she led her team to a bronze medal. Barker was named to the tournament all-star team after batting .500 in 27 plate appearances. Barker is an honour roll student at Yale Secondary and a product of their softball academy.  She is interested in studying Kinesiology at SFU.
 
Why SFU? "SFU gives me the opportunity to play softball at an elite level, close to home, while receiving an amazing education," said Barker.
