Biography

Gillis has a national championship on her resume, as she won a Canadian title in 2013 with the Delta Heat. She was part of the 2013 Delta Heat team that competed as the only Canadian squad in the 2013 US National Tournament, coming in 17th out of 144 teams.

Gillis is a multi-sport athlete as she had competed in the BC Cross Country Championships and the BC High School Track and Field Championships in the 100 and 400-metre hurdles and the 400-metre relay.
