A student-athlete must complete his or her seasons of participation during the first 10 terms/semesters in which the student is enrolled in a collegiate institution in at least a minimum full-time program, as determined by that institution. A term/semester is used when the student-athlete is officially enrolled/registered in a regular term full time and attends the first day of classes for that term, even if he or she drops to part time during that first day.
