Clan drop conference match to the Falcons

Box Score The Simon Fraser University women's soccer team dropped their conference match, Saturday afternoon against the Seattle Pacific University Falcons 2-0.
 
The first half remained scoreless despite aggressive play by both teams.
 
The Falcons scored early into the second half when Ali Martin headed the ball in the goal to give SPU a 1-0 lead.
 
SPU kept applying pressure throughout the remaining time and Megan Lindsey sealed the win and gave the Falcons a 2-0 lead with only 15 minutes left in the game.
 
SFU's goalkeeper Amanda Gilliland had another strong performance, making five saves on the day.
 
With this loss, SFU's records drops to 1-10 total and 0-9 in conference play.
 
The Clan will be back in action at Terry Fox Field October 11, 2012 at 7:30 against Western Oregon University.
