LACEY, WA — Simon Fraser University took care of business with a 4-1 win over Saint Martin's University on Thursday setting up a final day showdown in the playoff race for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer championship tournament.
The fourth and final spot in the GNAC Championship will be decided in the regular season's finale on Saturday after the Clan's victory tonight. Simon Fraser, Central Washington and Montana State Billings are all level in the standings with 16 points after Central Washington defeated Concordia University, 1-0.
The Wildcats will travel to Billings, Montana this Saturday for the last remaining regular season match for both teams. Simon Fraser hosts Western Oregon at home on Terry Fox Field on Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM in its last conference match. The game will be streamed live here:

After a scoreless first half Thursday against the Saints, junior
Devon Kollmyer scored her second and third goals of the season seven minutes apart to send the Clan on its way to victory. Kollmyer scored her first in the 64
th minute and then the Clan's other three goals came at 72:53, 79:07 and 84:29.
Katelyn Erhardsen set-up both of Kollmyer's goals and then scored her second of the season.
Karm Jawandha completed the Clan scoring.
"The girls fought very hard to stay alive and found a way to win," said Clan head coach
Annie Hamel. "They had a slow start in the first half, over playing in the final third, but turned it around in the second and put their chances away."
SMU recorded seven shots with SFU goalkeeper
Priya Sandhu making five saves. The only one to beat her came in the 88
th minute off the foot of Abby McFaul.
SFU had nine shots with eight on goal.
GNAC CHAMPIONSHIPS: The GNAC Women's Soccer Championships will be played on Terry Fox Field in Burnaby, B.C., beginning Thursday, Nov. 5. Western Washington, Concordia and Seattle Pacific have each secured spots at the tournament. Tickets for the event are now available through gnacsports.com.

The first two matches of the championship will be played on Thurs., Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., Pacific time. After a day off, the winners of the semifinal matches will play for the championship on Sat., Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. Pacific.
REGIONAL RANKINGS: The first NCAA Division II West Regional Poll was released last week with three GNAC teams ranked. Western Washington ranked No. 1, Seattle Pacific No. 4 and Simon Fraser No. 6. The regional rankings decide which teams are invited to the NCAA Regional Championships.
