Simon Fraser University is 50, and to celebrate, we're counting down 50 Incredible Moments in Clan History. Incredible Clan Moment No. 11 celebrates the undefeated football season in 1970.

 In 1970, quarterback Dave Syme led the football team to a perfect 8-0 record, the only undefeated football season in school history. Coached by Lorne Davies, the team featured running back Terry Bailey and 11 other players who would go on to play in the Canadian Football League. The team celebrated a 61-6 win over UBC -- the most lopsided win in Shrum Bowl history. The Province newspaper writer Howard Tsumura looks back on that season. STORY HERE:
