BURNABY, BC – Simon Fraser University wide receiver
Lemar Durant (Coquitlam, BC) was today selected 18th overall by Calgary in the 2015 CFL Draft.
In his three years with SFU, Durant finished with 175 receptions, 2,392 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns in 25 games. This season Durant was Great Northwest Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference and a Beyond Sports Super Region III All-Region Team Honourable Mention.
In 2012, Durant caught 91 passes for 1,318 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Durant was the fourth receiver selected in the draft.
Since 2010, when Simon Fraser began competing in NCAA, four Clan receivers have been drafted into the CFL, including Durant. In the 2010 CFL Draft, Spencer Watt was selected in the third round (18
th overall) by Toronto and Matt Chapdelaine was chosen in the sixth round (42
nd overall). Receiver Tore Corrado was chosen in the sixth round (51
st overall) by Toronto last year.
