– The SFU Clan football team (0-4, 0-2) are still looking for their first win on the season following a 64-14 defeat at the hands of the Azusa Pacific Cougars (4-0, 3-0) on Saturday evening.

One of the SFU highlights of the contest came on the team's opening drive, where Richardson aired it out to Cobb for the 36-yard touchdown, a first for the rookie out of Mt. Douglas.
SFU will need to dust off the loss in short order, as the team will next return to Terry Fox Field to play their annual Homecoming Game on Saturday, October October 1st. The Clan will be matched up against the Central Washington University Wildcats (2-2, 1-1), as the two sides will kick off at 6:00 pm.
