Ava Koukofikas has a proven track record against top competition, having placed third in her first international tournament and posting three top 10 finishes in five American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events, including the 2019 Justin Thomas Junior Championship in Kentucky, which brings together top golfers from Canada and the United States. In 2019, Koukofikas also won Golf Ontario's Champion of Champions tournament which is an event for all of Ontario's female club champions. This summer Koukofikas shot a personal-best opening-round 67 and then went on to win the Ontario Club Championships. She also has a fourth-place finish to her credit in the Ontario High school golf championships. Koukofikas is a strong competitor who has an elite skill set physically, technically, and mentally. She brings a spirit that pushes her teammates and encourages everyone to strive for more. Koukofikas plans to study communications at SFU.
