Biography

Kassie Muanyam – Nanaimo, BC / Dover Bay Secondary
Height: 5'7"
Steinbach: "Kassie is an exciting player to add to our roster next year. She has skill, power and a phenomenal attitude – all of the key ingredients she needs to develop into a top-tier collegiate golfer."

Kassie is from Nanaimo, British Columbia. She attended Dover Bay Secondary School where she helped lead the team to a second-place finish at the 2018 BC School AAA Championship alongside Shirin Anjarwalla. Muanyam was inspired to play golf by her father and began playing competitive golf at the age of 12. After her freshman year at SFU, she had a tournament scoring average of 79.33. Muanyam is now pursuing a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Business, with the hope of attending law school in the future.

Why SFU? "I chose to attend SFU based on its academic reputation, what it has to offer for the major that I am interested in, as well as knowing several others from my high school that have attended SFU."
