Junsu (Danny) Im, from Daejeon, South Korea, and a transfer student from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, brings an impressive resume of accomplishments to the Simon Fraser University golf team. During his sophomore season, Danny showcased his talent early by finishing tied for third place with a five-under par score at the Saint Martin's University Bishop Invitational, followed by a strong sixth-place finish at the Western Washington University Invitational. As a freshman, Danny made an immediate impact, securing multiple top-15 finishes, including tying for the seventh place in his first collegiate event at the Battle In The Desert. His outstanding play continued as he won the PacWest Conference Championships Individually and his exceptional play led him to being named the PacWest Conference Freshman of the Year.

Danny's experience and proven track record of success at the collegiate level make him a valuable addition to the SFU golf team. His competitive nature and ability to perform under pressure are expected to have an immediate positive impact on the team. As Danny continues his journey at SFU, he brings with him not just his individual accomplishments, but also a commitment to contributing to a winning team culture.
