Justin Bjornson joined his brother, Bailey as a member of SFU men's golf in the 2023 Recruiting Class
 
The younger Bjornson tied for 26th at the 2022 BC Junior Boys Championship, which was completed on Canada Day. Later in July, he competed at the 2022 United States Junior Amateur, taking part in the stroke-play portion. Bjornson then finished in the 34th-place tie at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship in August. Bjornson was the captain of his Pacific Academy high school golf team, and its most valuable player for the 2021-22 campaign. He will also hold the position this year. Along with Bailey, he helped the Breakers win the BC high school Double-A provincial title and the Double-A Fraser Valley Zone banner in 2019. Bjornson also served as captain of his high school soccer team this fall. Bjornson has been an honour roll student at Pacific Academy since Grade 9, and has held a perfect 4.0 grade-point average the last two years.
