A local recruit from Burnaby, Amanda Scott has been an honour roll student throughout her high school career at Cariboo Hill. The 5-7 midfielder/defender plays for the TSS FC Black U18 team, which has won the Sounders FC Cup three years in a row since 2016. She was also on the Rovers' WPSL team this past Summer alongside SFU's Emma Pringle. Aside from soccer, Scott had competed in track & field and she volunteered for her school's Best Buddies program. She aims to study in the Faculty of Science at SFU with the goal of a career in the medical field.

Why SFU? "I chose SFU because of its extensive selection of programs to choose from and its high academic standard. It also offers the best of both worlds - being able to stay close to home while also having the opportunity to play in the NCAA."
