Simon Fraser will add a goalkeeper to its roster this Fall with Kelsey Fisher joining the program. The North Vancouver native is a top student at Windsor Secondary and a multisport athlete. In additional to backstopping her school's soccer team, Fisher also competes in volleyball, basketball and track & field and was selected female athlete of the year three years in a row. She is involved in her community through coaching and her efforts were recognized with a service award by Windsor in 2017. Fisher will work towards a major in Behavioural Neuroscience at SFU in preparation towards a career in psychiatry or therapy.

Why SFU? "I chose SFU for several reasons. I live in North Vancouver so the school was close to home and I know many people who have gone to SFU, one of which is my mom, and they have all told me great things about the school and how it has impacted its former students. I discovered that SFU has my ideal degree and I am looking forward to furthering my education at this university. With so many positive recommendations, SFU became the right choice for me."
