Biography

Garcia moved from 126-pounds to the 135-pound weight class as a senior and went 30-1 with 23 pins. Her only loss came in overtime at the California State Championships where she went on to place third. Garcia was a three-time Central Coast Section champion. Last summer, she wrestled at 130 pounds, finishing third in the U.S. in freestyle at the Junior Nationals.
