Abdou: “Josh comes from one of the toughest wrestling states in the USA. He has been a leader on his team and has had a lot of recent success. We are really excited about coaching Josh.”

In his senior season, Meyers served as team captain and was named the MVP of the Menlo-Atherton wrestling team, while leading them to a first-place finish in the Peninsula Athletic League. In the Summer of 2018, he won a gold medal in an international freestyle tournament in Ecuador.

Meyers plans to study kinesiology while attending SFU.
