This year's PINK GAME + fundraiser will be a slightly different than the previous years since all the profits will go towards helping children and adolescents who are being treated for all types of cancer at BC Children's Hospital. The proceeds from the PINK GAME+ will be given to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation, so that 100 percent of donations will improve the quality of life of kids with cancer.

Fans are still encouraged to get pinked out to show their support for the cause. Throughout the whole night, this fundraising event will include entertainment, games, raffles and a silent auction of SFU team member's warm-up t-shirts.

The SFU women's basketball family was directly impacted with the fight against cancer when both Nicole Eidsvik and Tessa Beauchamp have lost their courageous battle against the illness. The Clan are looking to help and raise awareness and funds to fight Childhood Cancer.

It will also be the Clan's senior night as Marie-Line Petit (Bergeronnes, QC), Chelsea Reist (Mission, BC), Kia Van Laare (New Westminster, BC), Rebecca Langmead (Torbay, NL) and team manager Alex Mackenzie will take the floor one last time at home.

Feel free to visit the community event 'PINK GAME Hosted by SFU W' on the BC Children's Hospital Foundation website: https://secure.bcchf.ca/SuperheroPages/main.cfm?Member=38609&Event=ICE

The SFU women's basketball team enters this weekend's games with a 12-6 record and the game against Saint Martin's on February 15 will be a key contest late in the season to determine playoff positioning.
