Box Score Ellensburg, WA - The Simon Fraser University women's soccer team fell to Central Washington University 4-0 in their midday game this Saturday.
SFU showed a good team effort, but Central Washington was able to maintain a great deal of possession though the game and capitalize on their opportunities.
It was their second game of the season against a Great Northwest Athletic Conference opponent.
Central came out strong, and had 21 shots throughou the game, but the Clan defence did a good job to limit those to only eight shots on goals.

Priya Sandhu (Surrey, BC) had four saves in the game.
The Clan had several good scoring opportunities as
Nicole Foreman,
Sierra Leung and Andrea di Lorenzo each had chances on the other end of the pitch, but were unable to put one past Wildcat Kayla Lipston.
The Wildcats scored two goals in each half for a 4-0 final score.
With the loss, SFU falls to 0-6 on the season, and 0-2 in the GNAC.
The Clan return home to host their GNAC home opener this Thursday, September 25 against Western Oregon.
Kick-off on Terry Fox Field is at 5:00 p.m. and admission is free for SFU students.
