Burnaby -- Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Simon Fraser women's basketball has four returning members to the GNAC all-acadmic team. 

To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Teams, presented by Barnes & Noble College, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.20 or greater, be a letterwinner on their team and must be in their second year at the nominating institution.



Forward Claudia Hart makes the list for the second consecutive year after making the list in 2018-2019.  The senior from North Vancouver has an 3.30 GPA in business administration.

Richmond native Jessica Jones makes the all-academic list for the third consecutive season.  She carries a 3.90 GPA in criminology. Last season Jones was also a 1st team all-gnac selection in 2018-2019. 

Senior Kendal Sands also makes the all-academic list for the third straight season. The guard from Coquitlam has a 3.76 in Kinesiology. 

Lastly, forward Sophie Klassen makes list in consecutive seasons after a stellar 3.75 average in the Kinesiology faculty.
