MONMOUTH, Ore. --- Jessica & Sophia Wisotzki scored 56 points to lead SFU Red Leafs to a 75-69 win over Western Oregon in Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball action on Saturday at the New PE Building.
 
Jessica Wisotzki scored 33-points and Sophia Wisotzki scored 23 points to lead the Red Leafs to a key road win over Western Oregon. The rest of the Red Leafs combined for 19 points.
 
The third quarter turned out to be the difference as Simon Fraser outscored the Wolves 31-15 in the period. WOU outscored the Red Leafs in each of the other quarters and by a combined score of 54-44.
 
But the Red Leafs got hot in the third quarter, going 5-for-9 from 3-point range and 11-for-20 overall from the field.
 
The Wolves trailed by as much as 16 in the fourth quarter, but cut the lead down to four with 11 seconds left before losing by six points.
 
Jessica Wisotzki went 6-of-16 from the field, 4-of-10 from three-point range and 17-of-18 from the free throw line.
 
Sophia Wisotzki was 8-of-18 shooting, connecting on 2-of-3 threes and going 5-of-6 from the line. She also had eight rebounds.
 
Gemma Cutler added seven points and 14 rebounds for SFU, which trailed 27-25 at the half.
 
SFU connected on 24-of-70 (34.3 percent) field goals, went 8-of-28 (28.6 percent) on threes and was 25-of-30 at the line (83.3 percent).
 
SFU sits in sixth spot in the GNAC with a 9-10 overall record, 7-7 in the GNAC. WOU dropped to 10-12 overall, 4-10 in the GNAC.
 
The Red Leafs play their final two home games next week.
