TURLOCK, Calif. – Simon Fraser Universoty lost 3-1 to Hawaii Hilo in a game that was called after four innings on Sunday at the Tournament of Champions, presented by the City of Turlock.

Amy Hughes as SFU opened the game with a 1-0 first inning lead. Hughes walked and stole second to put herself in scoring position.
Hawaii Hilo scored two runs in the second and another in the third for the win. The game was called in order to enable the Red Leafs time to catch a flight home to Vancouver.
Cassidy Affeldt had two hits in the contest.
The next SFU home games at Beedie Field will be April 7 and 8 against Saint Martin's (Washington).
