Dani Langford is a 2023 inductee into the Basketball BC Hall of Fame in recognition of her significant contributions to the sport over the course of her career. Langford played point guard for Simon Fraser University (SFU) from 2000 to 2005, and during this time, she made a significant impact on the court, leading her team to several championships and setting multiple records.

Langford's career at SFU was highlighted by the 2004-05 season, when she led the team to an undefeated 38-0 record and a CIS National Championship. She was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the championship game, underlining her critical role in the team's success. This achievement wasn't an isolated incident – she was also part of SFU's 2002 CIS National Championship team, which also went undefeated.

Langford's individual accomplishments at SFU include 802 career assists, ranking third for the university. She also ranks second in assist-to-turnover ratio with 2.32. She holds the record for most three-point field goals made with 388 and holds the record for most three-point field goals in a season with 135 during the 2003-04 season. Additionally, she ranks third in three-point field goal percentage and fifth in assists in a single game, when she had 15 assists against Laurier on March 8, 2003.

Her contributions to team success earned her acclaim throughout her career. Langford was named a Canada West All-Star three times – twice to the Second Team and once to the First Team. She also earned a spot on the CIS National Championships Tournament All-Star team for the 2002-03 season. Beyond these, her other team achievements include winning the Canada West Championship and Canada University Games.

Langford's high school achievements contributed to her impressive record. She was part of the BC High School Provincial Championship-winning team in 2000 with Heritage Park, where she was named Tournament Most Valuable Player. Additionally, she helped secure gold at the Canada Summer Games and was part of the Canada Junior National Team in 2000.

After her playing career, Langford pursued a career in physiotherapy, contributing to the sports community in another significant way: serving as physiotherapist for the 2022 NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
