On an unforgettable Senior Night at home, the Simon Fraser University (SFU) Red Leafs capped off their best season in program history with a thrilling five-set victory over Central Washington University (CWU) in SFU's West Gym.
SFU came out strong, taking the first and second sets, but CWU fought back hard to claim the third and fourth, forcing a decisive fifth set. With the championship on the line, the Red Leafs dominated the final frame, storming to a 15-4 victory and sending the home crowd into celebration.
The win secured SFU Volleyball's share of the GNAC Regular Season Co-Champion title, finishing the season with an impressive 14-4 record. SFU joins Alaska-Fairbanks, Alaska-Anchorage, and Central Washington as co-champions.
Adding to the celebration, senior setter
