SFU delivered a commanding performance on home court Saturday night, sweeping Saint Martin's University in straight sets (25-21, 25-11, 25-19) in the West Gym.
Leading the charge for Simon Fraser was
Davida Hill, who tallied 10 kills and hit .500 on the night.
Nina Kovacevic and
Megan Hawkins added 9 and 8 kills respectively, while setter
Eva Person orchestrated the offense with 29 assists. On defense,
Macyn Unger anchored the back row with 12 digs, and
Logan Remington contributed 4 blocks at the net.
With the win, SFU improves their conference standing and continues to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. Next up, the team takes on Alaska Anchorage on November 6 at 8:00 pm in Alaska.
