As SFU Volleyball prepares for their NCAA First Round Regional match-up down in Point Loma, three of their athletes were selected to Regional Teams on Wednesday.
Natalie Lemoine-Sells (Winnipeg, Man.) was selected to the AVCA West Region First Team, while
Eva Person (Brentwood Bay, B.C.) was selected as an AVCA West Region Honorable Mention, and
Logan Remington (Mercer Island, Wash.) was selected to the 2025 D2CAA All-West Regional Volleyball Second Team

Natalie Lemoine-Sells stepped up on both sides of the ball this year in her second season with the Red Leafs, leading the offense with 318 kills and contributing 355.5 points while also contributing 70.0 blocks and 49 digs. With the GNAC regular-season title on the line, Lemoine-Sells helped SFU pick up two wins and a share of their first-ever GNAC conference trophy. In the final regular season game against Central Washington, Lemoine-Sells had 17 kills on a .395 attack percentage to go along with four total blocks and four digs. Her strong play on that final weekend earned her first-career GNAC player of the week. Upon the conclusion of the regular season, Lemoine-Sells ranked sixth in the GNAC with 3.31 kills per set (15th in the West Region) and 10th in the GNAC with an attack percentage of .258. Lemoine-Sells is only the second Red Leaf to ever be named to the AVCA West Region First Team, joining former Red Leaf
Brooke Dexter.

Eva Person continues to be instrumental to SFU's success, compiling 844 assists on the season (surpassing her previous season high of 815), and sits at 3,036 for her career. The back-to-back GNAC Setter of the Year had no less than 22 assists in any match this season and had a career high 50 assists against Seattle Pacific on October 25, 2025. Person became only the fourth GNAC player to ever pass the half-century assist mark in a match. In addition to being the lead on offense, Person had the third most digs on the team with 240, behind Libero
Macyn Unger and OH
Megan Hawkins.
Logan Remington - MB, Sophmore
D2CAA All-West Regional Volleyball Second Team
GNAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week - Sept 8, 2025
Logan Remington (Mercer Island, Wash.) was selected to the 2025 D2CAA All-West Regional Volleyball Second Team in just her sophmore season. The 6-3 middle blocker has 129 blocks (20 solo) so far this season and has averaged 1.34 blocks per set, ranking third in the West Region and 12
th Nationally. Remington set a GNAC match record with 18 blocks in a game against San Francisco St. on Sept 9, 2025 and earned her first-career GNAC player of the week. In addition to their presence on the defensive side, Remington also had 126 kills with a .370 attack percentage at the end of the regular season, contributing 200.5 points for the Red Leafs.
American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA): The AVCA Regional awards are voted on by member coaches of the AVCA. The mission of the AVCA is to advance the sport of volleyball with AVCA coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
Division 2 Conference Comissioners Association (D2CAA): The D2CAA All-Regional awards are selected by collegiate athletic administrators. D2CAA is the largest association of collegiate athletics administrators, NACDA boasts a membership of more than 22,000 individuals and more than 2,200 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Members include athletics directors, associate and assistant athletics directors, conference commissioners and affiliate individuals or corporations.
