The SFU Women's Wrestling team delivered an outstanding two-day performance earlier this week.
Monday began with a hard-fought battle against Fort Hays State, where the Red Leafs narrowly fell 25-22 before defeating Adams State 30-16 with seven weight class victories!
Tuesday, the Red Leafs edged out the Texas Woman's University Pioneers 25-22, winning six of ten. They carried that momentum into their next meet, defeating No. 24-ranked Schreiner University 30-19 with six wins.
Five SFU Women's Wrestlers are now ranked in the NCAA Top 10 for their respective weight classes:
SFU also sits at No. 7 nationally for tournament performance and No. 13 for duals.
Next up, the team heads to Las Vegas December 17 for the Wartburg College Desert Duals.
