SFU Women's Soccer earned their first victory of the season with a 2-1 win over Stanislaus State on Sunday, September 7. Kiera Scott opened the scoring with an assist from Kaiden Sherwood, followed by a goal from Francesca Rowen, her debut goal as a Red Leaf, set up by Katelyn Magdalinski. The win followed a hard-fought 0-0 draw against UC Merced the day before, marking a strong weekend showing for the Red Leafs.

Senior goalkeeper Sarah Loewen reached a major career milestone, recording her 200th save, a testament to her consistency between the posts.

With momentum building, SFU continues their preseason tour in California with a matchup against Chico State on Thursday, September 11.
