From Calgary to the Court
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Alyssa grew up trying several sports—including hockey and gymnastics. She discovered basketball, inspired by her father, who played college basketball at King’s University and held a rebounding title for many years. Under her father’s guidance as a coach during her early years, Alyssa found her love for the game. Her height for basketball made her stand out, motivating her to pursue the sport seriously.

Looking Ahead
This season, playing against older, stronger, and more experienced competition is both exciting and nerve-wracking, but Alyssa is determined to rise to the challenge.
