Biography
Emma Kramer is a 5-foot-11 shooting guard out of Sullivan Heights Secondary School in Surrey, BC. A dual sport athlete in high school, Kramer will be following in her mother's footsteps to SFU. Mother, Lani, has both played and coached for SFU women's basketball, and was an assistant on Langford's staff during his first couple of seasons at SFU. "We hoped she would want to carry on Lani's tradition," said Langford. "It's going to be nice to add a person of tradition to the team."
"I chose SFU because I feel a really strong connection to the school," said Kramer. "I have been surrounded by the SFU community since I was a baby, with former players being my baby sitters when I was young to watching my mom coach," she reflected. "This school has been a part of my life for a long time and it just seemed like the natural place for me to continue to grow as a student-athlete."
