Biography

Prior to SFU:

Georgia Swant, a 5-foot-9 guard and younger sister of SFU junior forward Sophie Swant, will be joining the team from Argyle Secondary in North Vancouver. Swant was a multi-sport athlete through high school and averaged 22 points, 6 assists, as well as 3 steals and 3 three-pointers per game. She has many accomplishments on the court, highlighted with her BC Provincial Junior Championships MVP award as well as having maintained Honour Roll status academically since grade 10. "She has a very competitive side to her; it's in the Swant gene," said Langford.

"SFU has a very good women's basketball program and I wanted to play at a high level of basketball while still being close to home," said Swant. "It seemed like the perfect choice."
