Biography
Prior To SFU
Jessica Jones averaged 18 points per game for the McMath Wildcats, who finished second at the B.C. AAA championship. Jones was an All-Star at the B.C. AAA Championships in both 2015 and 2016. In 2016, Jones was selected to the Province Sports Head of the Class. Jones has also been a member of the U15 and U17 provincial teams. Jones also participated in Basketball B.C.‘s TAS/POD program, designed for the top players in the province. Father, Paul, played JV basketball player at UBC and for the WLA’s New Westminster Salmonbellies box lacrosse team.
Head Coach Bruce Langford: "Jessica is as good a high school shooter as there is in the province. She is also an excellent passer into the post which is a hard-to-come-by skill that will fit nicely with our style of play.”
