Biography
Personal – Rachel, or Fradge to her teammates, enjoys long naps and peanut butter on hamburgers. Fradgley was a golf prodigy and highland danced for 9 years growing up. She grew up in London, ON with parents Pam and Bob and siblings Kirsten and Matthew. Fradgley listens to In the Club by 50 Cent to get pumped up before games and her favourite movies are Good Will Hunting and Christmas Vacation. She likes knitting and spending time with friends, and while she the strong, silent type, she is also known to crack some good jokes.
High school - Fradge attended Saint Thomas Aquinas Secondary in London, Ontario where she made the honour roll in all 4 years during high school. As team captain, Fradgley helped lead her team to a 3rd place finish in OFSSA and in her final year, she received the Fran Wigston award and was named the top player in TVRA. In the summer before attending university, Fradgley was selected as a member of the Canadian Junior National Team, where she helped lead the team to a 2nd place finish in FIBA Americas. She also had success playing club basketball for the Ramblers JUEL. The team went undefeated during the regular season and finished 2nd in Ontario playoffs.
University – Fradgley is playing the 2014-15 season as a true-freshman, and has already been named a starter as a freshman. Fradgley is a big strong presence in the post, and provides the Clan with excellent rebounding ability and strength in the paint.
