Biography

Prior To SFU
de Beer  won a U-18 national championship with her BCO Elite club team playing alongside current Clan freshman Tessa May. She also won gold medals competing for Team BC at the 2015 U-18 National Team Challenge Cup and 2015 U-18 Western Canada Summer Games. de Beer is an extremely versatile player capable of playing any position along the net and she possesses great passing and defensive skills in the back row.
 
Head Coach Gina Schmidt: "Betsie has experienced a lot of success at the club and provincial team level and she will find numerous ways to contribute to our program, not only on the court but in the classroom and as a great teammate."
