She has been a leader and go-to hitter on almost every team she has played for and we see her continuing that here at SFU. Camryn is also an excellent student and a great teammate, which makes her a perfect fit for our program."
 
Camryn Vosloh joins Simon Fraser from Blain High School, where she maintained an 'A' average throughout her high school career. As an athlete, she has been selected as her school's MVP since grade 8. In the 2017 season, she is boasting a .443 hitting percentage and has tallied 254 kills, 234 digs, 37 aces and 53 blocks so far. The six-foot outside hitter also has several club accomplishments, highlighted by a BC Summer Games U15 bronze medal, a provincial U16 gold medal and MVP selection, and a gold medal and all-star honour at the U17 level with Team Academy.
 
Outside of school and volleyball, Vosloh is active in the community. She had volunteered at the Semiahmoo House Society, helped organize a clothing drive for Fiji flood victims in 2012 and more. She plans to major in Kinesiology at SFU with the goal of becoming a chiropractor or working in the field of sports medicine.
 
"I chose SFU because I knew that it was a great school for Kinesiology, the degree I want to pursue," Vosloh explained. "Gina was a big factor in the decision as well. She has improved the volleyball program immensely in just a few years and I knew I would love the chance to be coached under her wing. SFU is in a beautiful location and is close to family, so I get the best of both worlds."
