Biography

Hanna Kolof – Vancouver, BC / York House School
Position: Outside Hitter / Defensive Specialist
Height: 5'10"
Club Team: Thunder Volleyball Club
Schmidt: "Hanna is a dynamic athlete with great ball control. I believe her game is well suited for the NCAA style of play and her all-around skill set will allow her to contribute in a variety of ways for our team. Hanna is also an extremely hard worker both on the court and in the classroom."

Hanna Kolof is an Honour Roll student with distinction at York Hour School, where she won a gold medal at the Independent School Athletic Association (ISAA) tournament in 2018. As a member of Team BC Select U18 in 2018, she won a gold medal at the Canada Cup. At the club level, she won a gold medal at the 2018 Division 1 Provincial tournament.

A volunteer first responder and the Athletic Head at York House, Kolof plans to major in Kinesiology at SFU and hopes to pursue a career in medicine and healthcare following her graduation.

The University's strong Kinesiology program combined with the culture and positive atmosphere that Gina has created made SFU my top choice. I am very excited to be coached by Gina and Rob next season and to be competing in the NCAA!"
