Rohit is a Registered Physiotherapist, Manager at SFU Sports Medicine. He earned his Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia in 2009 and Bachelors of Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Mumbai, India in 2007. He earned distinctions with both degrees.
Rohit uses biopsychosocial 'Athlete centered' approach utilizing tools therapeutic education, manual therapy, exercise therapy, soft tissue release, and taping techniques in his practice. He has experience in providing sports physiotherapy services to clients ranging from weekend warriors to International athletes in a broad range of sports in Canada, India and Australia. Cricket (Board of Control for Cricket in India and Mumbai Cricket Team), Australian Rules football (GAZA FC and Kenilworth FC), Squash (Australian Squash Open), Skate Canada (National synchronized skating championship), Karate Canada (National Championship), Basketball (Basketball Federation of India), swimming, volleyball, soccer and field hockey. He has also worked extensively with Capilano University Varsity athletes during his tenure with North Shore Sports Medicine.
In his free time you can see him playing Cricket, hiking on the north shore mountain and biking!
