Box Score Burnaby, BC – The Simon Fraser University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Northwest Nazarene Thursday evening.
The Clan turned in a strong performance, but a header goal by NNU in midway through the second half decided the game in the visitors' favour.

Priya Sandhu (Surrey, BC) had another night full of saves, keeping her team in the game throughout the competition.
The freshman had seven saves on the night.
The Crusaders started strong, putting four consecutive shots on goal in the first five minutes of play, followed by chances on three consecutive corner kicks.
The Clan regrouped quickly after those opportunities were turned away, countering in NNU's half.
Both teams battled throughout the first half trading fouls late in the period, as they were hungry for the go-ahead goal.
The goal did not come in the first 45 minutes, and the teams returned for half number two with a score of 0-0.
SFU tried to strike first but the Crusaders were the first to score, as a header in the 63
rd minute flew just out of reach of Sandhu and in to make it 1-0.
The Clan continued to battle but the Crusaders were able to maintain their lead, and in the final minute of play, add the 2-0 goal to finalize the score.
Ruby Sandhu (Surrey, BC) had a team-high two shots for the Clan.
With the loss the Clan fall to 2-11 on the season ad 2-7 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
The Clan are back in action this Saturday as they host the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets.
