BURNABY, BC - The Simon Fraser University Clan women's volleyball team lost in straight sets to Central Washington Saturday in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action Saturday in the West Gym.
It was just the Clan's third loss this season as the team is off to its best start in almost two decades. SFU is now 13-3 this season and 6-2 in the GNAC.
The Clan lost in straight sets 25-19, 25-21, and 25-14 for just the third time this season. The Wildcats improve to 10-6 overall and 6-2 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
The Clan was led by
Tessa May with 9 kills and 5 blocks,
Tamara Nipp with 31 assists and
Alison McKay with 17 digs.
It was the Clan's #PinkDay and the team raised money for the BC Breast Cancer Foundation.
