LACEY, Wash. – There is only one unbeaten team remaining in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after Saint Martin's swept a four-game weekend series from SFU, winning two games 7-6 (9 innings) and 6-2 Sunday afternoon.
Sunday's two losses followed two losses on Saturday, that dropped SFU from 4-0 to 4-4 in conference play (9-10 overall). The Saints have won 11 straight games and now sit atop the conference standings with a 4-0 record (14-8 overall).

With Malia Pinder on base, Vanessa Smoke ended the game with a two-run blast to left to send the Saints to a 7-6 victory.
Both teams scored two runs in the third inning before Simon Fraser put three on the board in the seventh for a 5-2 lead. The three-run inning was aided by two throwing errors and one fielding error that enable SFU to score three runs.
