"These young athletes have worked incredibly hard this year and have earned the right to represent Canada at the Pan American Championship. It's an amazing opportunity and a very special moment, plus, it's always fun to see SFU represented and competing at world class events," shared SFU Men's Wrestling Coach Clete Hanson, who has also been selected as the coach for Team Canada at the Pan American Championships.

The wrestlers have been preparing for the Championships at a training camp at the Villa Deportiva Nacional in Lima, Peru, where they have had the opportunity to train with the Peruvian and Mexican national teams.
